In the Arnold Arboretum
Rebecca and Jeff
Rebecca and Jeff spent much of the early part of their relationship walking around the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, so we decided to return there to document this time in their marriage. "We are hoping to start a family soon, and at this transition while we are not sleep deprived we would like to capture our happiness!"

Couple's Studio SEssion
Jack and Kiersten
Jack and Kiersten were celebrating their one year wedding anniversary. They had gone through some difficult times in that first year, and wanted to both commemorate the end of that phase and celebrate how it had brought them to a deeper understanding with one other. They decided on a studio session that showcased their playfulness, with some quiet and sweet moments in there too.

A walk around their neighborhood
Jeremy and Abby
Jeremy and Abby owned a home together and were dating for 15 years before they decided to get a portrait session together! They're big on game nights, local restaurants, bike rides and their cat, Flip. We took a summery stroll around their neighborhood to capture them hanging out in all their favorite places.

Lots of couples get their photo professionally taken at two (very near-together!) times in their life: for their engagement, and their wedding or elopement. But there are lots of other equally important benchmarks in a romantic relationship! Maybe you've been dating for a year and want to celebrate. Maybe you just bought your first house together, or adopted an animal, or maybe you've been together for 20 years (married or not). There are lots of times that deserve to be honored, witnessed, and remembered in a relationship.
Maybe there isn't even a real "occasion" to mark: you just love one another and want to remember this time and this happiness. I am here for all of it.
BECAUSE A WEDDING DAY ISN'T THE ONLY DAY OR WAY TO BE IN LOVE
Send me a note and I'll get back to you within 24 hours (usually a lot sooner during business hours!) I'll send you my full pricing information, with some questions for you about who you both are, what you love to do together, and what you'd like to communicate in your portraits. I want to ensure we're a great fit!

2. Your guide
If we're excited to work together, the rest is easy! You'll select your date and time and I'll send you my contract and invoice; once that's digitally signed and paid, your session is officially locked in my calendar!
Don't know what to wear? How many outfits to bring? How much makeup to wear, if any? How to find my studio, where to park? Don't worry, I'm here for you every step of the way! Once your session is booked, I send you my full preparation guide, studio information email, and a list of conversation topics to consider before your session together.
Having a session outside of my studio? I have a list of locations that I know photograph beautifully, which I'll share as a starting point, along with some questions for you about your favorite places to be.
3. ask me Anything
Hurray, it's the day of your session! If you're having hair and makeup done in my studio, you'll come an hour before your session start time to get all polished up, otherwise I'll meet you five minutes before your start time so we have time to get settled and chat a bit.
Next you'll show me any additional outfits you brought (if relevant), and we'll get started!
4. let's shoot!
Within 2 weeks you'll have your online proof gallery of hand-edited images! You'll select your images for download based on the package you chose at booking, but if you'd like to upgrade your collection at that time you're always welcome to get more. Thank you SO MUCH for this incredible window into our lives. We've been away and wanted to wait until we were back in our space together with plenty of time to look these over. The photos actually made us cry they were so beautiful.
You are so skilled and so artistic, and we can't thank you enough for the time and care you put into this unusual project. Maybe in ten years we can do it again!

Dearest Adrianne,
I've downloaded the photos successfully, thank you so very much for having kept them until now. It makes my heart flutter seeing them again. In the images, you captured so much of the essence of the relationship between Harriotte and me. You took what I feel is the very best photo of Harriotte, with her eyes looking as they did for most of her life and as I met her some seventeen years ago.
